Compounding
At the beginning of 2009, RSH commissioned a new twin-screw extruder with advanced dosages and blending facilities.
The company then started making plastic compounds. This new business segment was launched because of the growing requests from the plastics processing industry for alternatives to expensive virgin products.
Required were affordable, yet high-quality, lab-tested, readily available alternatives. In addition to our standard range of mineral-filled and unfilled PP compounds, as well as various ABS compounds, we are happy to develop tailor-made solutions. We liaise closely with our customers to produce the special compounds to the specifications for the application concerned.
Additives, modifiers, colour batches, stabilisers etc. are just a few of the examples of options. We can also act as toll-contractors to compound your materials:
Our current compounding capacity is approx. 800 t per month.
